Every December, the Carmel community comes together to celebrate the season while helping protect local families. Our foundation’s signature event — the Holiday Fire Safety Open House & Community Toy Drive — welcomes residents and visitors to stop by the Carmel Fire Safe House, learn essential fire-safety practices, meet our local firefighters, and donate toys for children in need. Together, we turn holiday spirit into real support for the families we serve.

Our mission
The carmel fire safe house foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to strengthening community safety through fire-prevention education, hands-on training, and meaningful local partnerships. what began as an effort to provide families with accessible fire-safety resources has grown into a trusted community program that empowers residents to protect their homes and loved ones.

we believe that safety, community, and compassion go hand in hand. by providing education, resources, and support, we help families feel confident and prepared in emergency situations. through our collaborations with the carmel fire department and community partners, we work to build a safer, more informed, and more resilient carmel for everyone.

Cost: Free to attend—just bring an unwrapped toy 🎁
What to Expect: Tour the Carmel Fire Safe House, meet local firefighters, learn hands-on fire-safety tips, enjoy holiday treats, and spread cheer with neighbors.
Where Your Donation Goes: All toys collected will be distributed to families in need through our community partners and the Carmel Fire Department.
🎁 Donate a Toy – Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the event or drop it off at participating bars.
👯 Volunteer – Help us coordinate, decorate, and keep the festivities running smoothly.
